In my world, blue is not melancholy; it is tranquility. I set aside traditional ink shades, choosing a single, porcelain-like blue to build this landscape. It’s an act of purification, an invitation to immerse yourself in pure, blue serenity.
The distant peaks are rendered with watery light blue, merging with the clouds. Precise strokes delineate their texture, capturing both the solidity of rock and the fluidity of ink—an interplay of stillness and movement.
The foreground cliffs and pines are realms I crafted to be “livable.” Using a deeper blue, I made them the focal point. The resilient pines are symbols of life, their varied postures representing a spirit of contentment.
I did not paint water, but the sea of clouds flows like it. I did not paint people, but the empty paths are resting places for the viewer’s heart. This painting is a poem written in blue, about finding peace and a place of rest. May all who see it find their own blue mountains.
