This painting emerged from my encounter with a hidden valley on Mount Emei, where thundering waterfalls met lingering winter snow. The contrast captivated me.
I used dry brush techniques for snow-covered rocks and placed the ancient tree asymmetrically for dynamism. The vertical ice formation represents life’s duality – frozen persistence meeting flowing change.

Misty mountains, created with splash-ink technique, invite imagination. The waterfall’s dynamic force contrasts with serene snow and steadfast tree, embodying nature’s eternal balance.

This work carries my reverence for nature and reflections on life’s meaning.
